There are many positive reasons for doing this kind of trip. The main reason I want to go is to learn about organic, sustainable, ecological lifestyles and business. Im going to meet a lot of people and see a lot of places. This will help me decide how to live when I come back.
I also want to travel and see Japan. There are so many places of iterest, it would take you more than a year to see them all. More than anything, I just want to get a feel for different places other than Nagano. This will help me decide where to live when I come back.
On the road, alone, I will have to practice Japanese a lot. I hope I can improve a bit.
Cycling will keep me fit and healthy and my diet and bad habbits will have to change too. I will also take a break for the conviniences and inconviniences of life. No bills, no rent, no keys... No air con, no televison (never had one in Japan anyway), no free access to the internet... A lot of fresh air, car fumes, time alone and in the company of others.
Finnaly, I hope this inspires other people to follow their bliss and to do what they feel they have to do.
